Current PC BIOS With No SLIC - Flash To BIOS With SLIC ?

    Hi,

    The AMI BIOS I currently have on my PC as shipped by the manufacturer has no SLIC, or, rather, the SLIC Tool generated the dump error message [SLIC Table Not Found]. The PC was manufactured by a smaller company and not one of the large corporates.

    My question is, am I OK to flash the BIOS with a modded version of the current BIOS where the modded version contains SLIC v2.1? The actual BIOS is ASUS P5QL/EPU v0408 and I have a modded version containing SLIC v2.1

    Do I place the modified ROM BIOS file in the same folder on the bootable drive as the AFUDOS.exe file? For example, my boot USB stick is drive J so I have the xxxx.ROM file and the AFUDOS.exe file both on the root of drive J:\

    Yes. Put them both in the Root directory on the Bootable USB Drive.
