for windows 8 x64 pro, i found some tool named windows 8 pro final activator v3.0 but people says it doesn't work anymore
Why do folks all over go to junk sites, and get some junk (suppose) to activate that is not tested when every honest site, I could name more than a dozen that Offer Validated Genuine Windows 8 Activators... Emulators, for Windows and Office most honest Genuine DL.s then ask "DUH, they say it does not work" GET A LIFE check out some pages Usually the fisrt page will provide many links to Approved. Programs that work. Gees read the Signature of S1ave77 and follow it.. I have found lots of Fantastic Items there..
Some is lack of knowing what is out there, so 1) seeing the first thing that pops up to them is exciting "Wow I can Activate Win8 with this!" 2) Laziness, 3) lack of concern, 3) ignorance of how things work (see 1) 4) Language barriers are huge and translation only gets people so far 5) A million other reasons. Once they find MDL, things get sorted, they see the way and the light and live happily every after (until they find another hacktivator that promises fun stuff!! and then return to MDL and get things right again lol)
You think it's bad on the net, you should have seen TPB when Win8 hit RTM status. Every a-hole that knew how to edit files claimed to have a working activator. Why they call it an activator instead of a failed hack is beyond me. IMO an activator is something that actually activates your software, not just hacks your files...
An activator mimics original conditions which are needed to activate successfully. It does not modify any OS file. Either it is a BIOS string, ACPI SLIC Table, MSDMTable, or a valid (accepted) KMS response. 100% mimicking is only achieved when mimicked SLP1.0 with a BIOS mod / DMI change, SLP2.X with either a BIOS mod or a pre OS loaded SLIC table... Any other activator methods are technically seen not 100% perfect...but will last until M$ changes something...SLP1 and SLP2.x activate methods are actually bulletproof.
So currently there is no "activation" for windows 8 right now correct? Unless you go and buy it and use the key. So why do we still have these Windows 8 for ppl to download for? when they can't activate it? Can someone explains. Like for windows 7, there's the loader which activate it, hence people go here to download windows 7 and use it. But what's the point of having windows 8 for download here on this forums when no one can really activate it?
For Windows 8, there's Microsoft Toolkit and the other various KMS Emulators. It works good but is no more 'Set and forget' as it used to be for Se7en.
But isn't KMS activation only last 180 days? I dont know about the MTK so i want to try that out. And what the new KMS V6 do?
Yes, KMS is 180 days. But the AutoKMS solution will refresh constantly so it never runs out. The KMSv6 hasn't been broken, yet (new encryption/keys).
KMS activation lasts 180 days correct. However, it just needs to be reactivated every 180 days (6 months). MTK handles that after every reboot so it is always at 179 to 180 days. V6 is MS's new version of KMS that has come out with Win8.1 and does not except the same technique used by MTK and MTK will not work with it.. yet -ed- As you see Carlos and I think alike hehe
So is KMS different from MTK? And also which one is better to use right now if I want to get Windows 8 and activate it? Sorry for asking you these questions, appreciated.
Apples and oranges. KMS is the activation procedure/licensing channel. MTK is a tool that does activate using the KMS channel.
