I run several VM Windows on a SRV2019 Hyper-V and use use them for different things. One is a bit of a test with SRV2022 that I use for development and have some apps on it that require a higher resolution on the RDP. At least 1920+1200 to be ok on my 4K monitor. Sure you can set RDP globally to use that, but I don't want to since it is just not needed.

So do you know of any way to set a different resolution on different RDP's on the same host? As in I connect to RDP1 with Res 1, RDP 2 with Res 2, etc.... maybe custom RDP shortcuts with switches?

Save your session as something like session.rdp

Edit session.rdp with notepad to your likings

Then doubleclick on it to connect, no need to resort to command line.
