+1001 The best PE creator, with plugins for literally everything... You will not find a PE that starts the way you illustrated in your post --- that is by clicking on "Repair your computer" It starts when you boot from the PE media...
Dart does not have a desktop experience and doesn't allow portable apps, as the OP asked... I haven't...what DaRT offers pales in comparison to the plugins one can install...
Hehehe...I wonder too My PE is made from 14393.729 and is 1 gb... Has all drivers from Driverpacks, Spybot, Wise Disk Cleaner, UltraSearch, Chrome x64, Anydesk, Ammyy, TeamViewer, VLC and the list goes on and on LOL... Always prefer doing maintenance on Windows offline
I used to use PESE but found I didn't need too. Everything I do from PE works from the cmd line. I do have MSDart in PE but rarely use it, perhaps just for file explorer...
Can't we substitute the Default Windows PE in a boot.wim with our custom Windows PESE? So then we have One Windows ISO which has Windows PESE with Windows setup media as well.(boot.wim: Indx 1=PESE,Indx 2=SETUP)
