Hello mates, I need your help: I bought D-Link DIR-300 wireless N 150 Home Router, problem is that my asus laptop does not sees it, when i click on the right below side of monitor to connect it, there is not my router but there is other wifi connection which is secured. what is problem can u help me? thanks in advanced. i will be glad for your support.
how far away from the AP are you? try moving closer. On a wired computer can you get internet access? You might have to look at the settings on the router from the wired computer.
logon to router with wire and check for security to be WPA or WPA2 .. some older OS liek xp sp2 dont see WPA2 until u apply the wpa2 hotfix for xp
Yes wifi symbol is blinking on the router. i connected my laptop by wire to this router and it was ok. but when i tried to connect by wifi nothing.
are you certain you are connecting to your own wifi. Go wired again and change the wifi ssid to EFA11 or something less exciting if you must and try again.
