doesn't work with certain chipsets. In fact it f**ks my computer up horribly when I try and install it. The drives never enable and you have to go through hell to get it to uninstall including 2 forced (hold the power button down) resets. I'm sticking to UltraISO until D-Tools works.
Shame that happened to you, I hate it when that kind of s**t happens. What chipset do you have, might be worthwhile saying to warn others. It works very well on the P35 chipset, the one I'm using, so a warning to anyone else, if yours is not P35, better be careful.
It an Asus P5K Pro, I don't have any clue what chipset it is besides the fact that I know its Intel running an Intel Q9300. Installed the Intel SATA and Chipset drivers but that didn't do anything. Works fine in Vista, but like I said I use UltraISO for the time being.
Well its not the chipset that caused your problem then because we're both using the same Intel P35! Well I guess that's that the nature of beta testing, something else in your system doesn't like it, and for now we don't really care what. A reminder this W7 works very well but it is beta never the less, and is going to throw up some problems. Should be a goer when its finally released in 2010!
Go to the Daemon Tools site at the link above and you can down load the trial versions and/or the Lite version directly from them. Regards,
thx denn, works like a charm with dtools lite just one thing, install stp 1.58 before trying to install daemon tools
Having issue with win 7b7048 x64 version. I can install SPTD 1.58 driver and DT 4.304 lite , but set virtual drive to 1 but it loop forever ? Any help is appreciated!
Just manage to make it work on x64 Win7. I need to re-install sptd 1.58 twice strangely after second reboot - it just work ? one of the W7 weird issue fortunately its beta. hope the real RC is more daemontool friendly .
