Daemon tools replacement

    Ok so Windows 7 says theres a compatibility issue with daemon tools

    What are you guys using or suggest using as a temporary replacement.

    Just ignore the prompts, it works fine.

    poweriso works great...its can pack/unpack ISOs as well as mount them. I use it exclusively in place of DT on win7.

    PowerISO cant emulate SecuROM, or any other game protection.

    ah ok...i don't play PC games anymore so that probably a limitation for some.

    Ignore it, it works fine. It has for me anyway.

    As long as you are using STPD 1.58 then Alcohol or D-Tools will work fine. As far as copy protection support it doesn't work against the newest version of SecuROM anyway you need something like YASU.

    Latest Daemon Tools works fine with Win7 RTM x64 :)

    DT Lite 4.30.4 is working fine for me. Using W7 RTM x64.

    Works fine on any games i have that use securom n stuff.

    Heres what i did
    I figured that the problem is mainly with sptd driver.
    Daemon tools distributes Sptd 1.58 with its current version.
    So i installed sptd 1.59 seperately from sptd website.
    It works fine now.

    I totally agree, even has an icon in the tray like daemon. Simple, no probs, works great.
