My son just recently built me a rig with Ryzen 5800X CPU on an Asrock B550M/ac MB. I purchased (2) DDR4 3600 sticks of ram from Crucial. When I look in Windows 11 under performance/Memory..It says the speed is 2667. Shouldn't it say 3600? Now here is the weird part. I am attaching 2 pic's from the BIOS of what the MB says I have. I never mess around the BIOS with any settings but it looks like it is showing that I have DDR-2666 and not 3600? What's it look like to any guru's out there. Thanks.

I remember reading the book under the Ram section and it said if you are only using 2 of the 4 ram slots to put them in A2 and B2...I read this after the fact and they are in A1 and B1..Would this matter? My son didn't think it mattered? It's still in dual channel.

Thanks, @TigTex ....I updated BIOS to 2.20..and changed the ram speed to 3200....So I'm not going to get the speed of the 3600 Ram I have? For now, I'll let it as you say. Thanks

You can get the 3600mhz. You can even get above that if you want. But just be aware that is considered overclocking (because your cpu is designed for up to 3200mhz) and might not work for 100% of the cases
