dead computer

    does any body know how to deactivate the windows 10 pro number so that i can use it on a new computer with windows 10 home on it , i have tried to just change them and that doesnt work . thanks for any help

    i dont understand u want swap out HD from one machine to another?

    i fried my mother board and bought another computer with windows home on it, i salvaged the drives the video card and the memory but you cant just swap drives , so im trying to use the old digital license on the new computer but befor i can i have to deactivate it and reactivate it on the new one, sorry if i didnt make myself clear .

    Just generate a new HWID by using MAS 1.4 (google for massgravel on github).

    thanks i now have windows 10 pro on the new computer that had windows 10 home on it , 1st i had to remove the old devise that died from my account that seemed to deactivate my old windows 10 pro license so i could enter that key and install windows 10 pro on the new computer some how it worked
