    It looks to me like a cross breed between Windows and OS X on top of a Linux base.
    Looks like a good option for someone who is trying to convert to Linux from one of those two.

    All l can say is Deepin 2014.2 is excellent, If you liked Pear OS 8, then Deepin 2014.2 is for you.:D

    Give them a little credit, they're #17 on distrowatch (today). Unfortunately they're systemd based and from China. Sorry but that just don't jive in my book.

    Dunno, something rings alarm bells for me with DeepIn

    The distinct lack of English ability inside the actual OS, if you can't speak English, why make an English OS?

    The begging to install on real hardware because VM is more or less sandboxed....

    No thanks, I`ll leave this one be

    Let me say again, Deepin 2014.2 is excellent.:D

    Deepin 2014.1 and Deepin 2014.2 look better than Elemantary OS.;)

    Deepin 2014.2 English ability is fine, and Chinese (China) can speak English .;)

    Nothing wrong with Linux or anything else being made in/from China.:good3:
