Delegating the Support of computers

    hi every one I'm new in windows server 2008 I have read that i can delegate the support of computers with Restricted Groups policies to the help desk
    Please I want to know if i add help desk to groupe administrator ,the help desk can log in my active Directory

    You should be able to add the Helpdesk group to the Remote Desktop Users group, that should give them access to your AD via RDP

    hi thank you for your answer but please I give them an access to my AD what will the right of the Help desk group (Can IT for exemple change the password)

    It all depends on what you would like them to have/not have access to. But yes, the Helpdesk group can usually change passwords, create new users and groups etc.
