I had to de-install all MS Runtime Librarys...used CCleaner to remove all remnants...and now I cant re-install all these. I get the error 0x80240017 (Unspecified Error) when trying to install 2015 one. 2008 x64 installs just fine, but x32 comes up with a window "install.res.????.dll"... Yet any application runs without problems. (games, photoshop etc.) I regret doing it, but I wanted to play RE 7 ^^ Steam forums are no help here, even if others have the same problem and I googled a lot already. Windows updates are disabled.
