I apologize since I didn't know where to put this. Can someone please help me obtain Dell recovery Windows ISO bootable media or pure ISO from dell site. Or if you could tell me if I can locate that ISO ** My elderly uncle bought the same laptop only with Ubuntu installed and since he must use Windows for operating machines I have to install it remotely. I can't go on site since he's in a field and I don't have clearance to enter the facility. I would slipstream drivers but there's no way to test it if it's going to install properly. He will buy a windows key tomorrow there's only one issue. The fastest way would be to make a USB with OS recovery tool but for Windows, and since this was bought with Linux I don't have access. Would someone please be so kind to upload that ISO if they have access. The specs of the laptop are Ryzen 7 5825 16 GB and 512 GB M.2. Thank you
you're correct. I've been there and downloaded everything and I'm preparing the iso but will need about 4 hours to make on a netbook and another 2 days to ship it without testing it. I have the dell service tag key but I can only download ubuntu version so you've pointed me to the site I've already been, thank you for that. If someone has a similar specced (ryzen 7 5825 with radeon integrated graphics) laptop but with windows 10 installed, someone could make an img of the iso and post it somewhere. I need only the image that can be created with dell tool which is customed tailored for that laptop without all the rest of the crap windows puts it. That's why I wrote all of this It could help me avoid a long windows phone install, and as far as I can see it will need to be
You are also absolutely right. I cannot do it, although I also have one Dell Inspirion, namely Inspiron 15 3583, but it has an Intel processor. But I can recommend that you select Windows 11 from the drop-down menu under Manually find a specific driver for your Inspiron 15 3525 and download all the necessary drivers from there, a suitable .ISO from Microsoft and install. Then you can proceed with cleaning according to your wishes and download Dell suppor assistant and other necessary, and then make your .iso (although it is not really necessary, because Dell does it on a separate partition itself). The recommended order of installation is first to make everything completely clean, then install Windows, and if everything works and you really want to install Linux there, then do it second, that is, if everything is OK with Windows. Personally, I would not recommend installing Linux on the same computer at all, and certainly not on the same disk. You should have two hard drives. Is it so?
use windows 10 22h2 or windows 11 22h2 after install windows update install driver most clean install
