DELL bios, not enough space to chang OEM ID, from B8K to B10K?

    i am not sure whether is it safe to override the 2F byte after the oem id

    If I were you, I wouldn't take that chance. It's too risky. Better use a loader.

    Hi!

    I wouldn't do this. It will certainly brick your PC. Just use the M09 SLIC table (from Dell Latitude E5500) as described here. I had a B9K Table in my Precision T3400 BIOS myself and modded it to M09. It works perfectly. So there's no need to use the B10K table and risk a brick...

    I assume that is the XSDT field guy.

    And yes, just use the M09 SLIC. No point using one you have to change table sizes for. Just causes more work than needed for you.
