My apologies if this is already known, but I have successfully removed the BIOS administrator password by shorting pins 2 & 4 (Serial Data Out and Gnd) of the Macronix MX25L1606E flash chip. I'd be interested to know if there is an easier way, but that worked for me. To get access to it you have to strip down the entire laptop. Cheers Tim
On locked Latitude 3570 even Dell could not generate master password, they in the end replaced motherboard!
