Hi All First this now seems such a complicated compared to the E6400 and earlier models! I dont seem to be able to work out how to change the service tag. SVCTAG.EXE and ASSET.com just say the BIOS is locked and another tool smmfgcfg.exe just asks for a file called s2token.tbl. This file seems to look for a cert server. Lot of info suggests that this can only be changed once i.e. when the system is switched on yet I find this hard to believe. So my questions surely there is a way around this, either unlocking to change or reseting the bios back to a state where it asks for the service tag. Any of you pro's on here have the answer??
