Dell inspiron 1520 BIOS failure

    Someone please save my life. I was updating my bios for DELL INSPIRON 1520 & it went off in the process. Laptop has refused to start. someone pls help with the procedure and file to use. plssssssssssssssss!!!!

    You will likely have to contact Dell or 3rd party BIOS recovery place. From what I have seen, the 1520 and 1720 do not have to "Boot Fail Recovery" enabled in the existing BIOS'es.

    Thanks for your response. Can you please give the contact of any third party BIOS place that you know.

    this is a shame,

    but this is also why Dell, and every other manufacturer, suggests always plugging in the power adapter before doing any update to the BIOS...
