dell inspiron mini 1018. touchpad can not be used

    I can not use the touchpad. I can only use the mouse. can anyone help me:weeping:?

    1. Are the drivers for that device installed properly? Check Device Manager.
    2. The Touchpad could be disabled. You can disable and enable it through some Fn+key combination. See the manual.
    3. Of course it could also be plain broken.

    Carlos is right. You might try deleting the device and rebooting. Windows will reinstall the touchpad upon reboot and it might work afterwards.
