Dell L401X Clear Service Tag Stored in Bios

    I want to clear the service tag of a Dell XPS 14. New motherboards come with the service tag clear. It can only be entered once from the BIOS menu. I want to clear it and enter correct tag. Please Please help.

    The older methods of asset etc do not work now. The eeprom will have to be erased. Even shorting some specific pins of the eeprom might do the job.The password might be stored in some address of the bios also. Addresses which are not erased when the bios is updated.
