Dell Latitude E5540 Windows 10 Intel Display Driver Issue

    Greetings, this Dell laptop breaks down, scrren goes black, pixelates and gives blue screen error "video tdr failure" as soon as the display driver gets installed. Everything is fine before the Automatic Windows 10 updates kill it.
    What do you suggest me do? Is there a way to disable auto updates on Windows 10? What else can I do?

    I had a similar issue with a Dell laptop — every time Windows installed the display driver, I’d get a black screen followed by a "video TDR failure" BSOD. What worked for me was using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in Safe Mode to completely remove all video drivers, and then manually installing an older, stable version of the graphics driver from Dell’s official website (not the latest one).
