    The Dell Latitude E6520 appears to be a business machine with a price tag exceeding $1,300

    Assuming you're the legal owner of the machine, why can your system administrator not help you with whatever problem it is you're experiencing?

    I find that difficult to believe quite frankly.

    Why don't you simply ask this 'someone' you bought it from for the BIOS password?
