Phoenix Tool 1.85 could only create a hdr file rather than exe. Created exe using Dell Client Confuguration Utility from hdr. Update is silent and will reboot machine automatically after 1-2 minutes. Could you upload please this bios mod to another hoster because i have problems with download from zshare. i have deactived my popupblocker and firewall but internet explorer and opera still said "deactived your popupblocker".
I created my own a month ago using the matching B9K Dell certificate... original BIOS uses the SLIC 2.0 B9K cert and I didn't like the idea of the existing QA09 SLIC 2.1 one floating around doesn't matter for functionality, but I prefer to use the "same" matching cert as the original BIOS
Hi all, I am new to Bios mods. I have just got an used Optiplex 755 with Vista business tag on it, but no OS installed. The original BIOS was A10 and now I have flushed with a latest A20 from Dell site.Anyway I would like to use Windows7 professional 64, since I have a media here. I have downloaded this mod BIOS (A19) but I don't know how to flush this. ( I have just run as an admin, but nothing has been changed.) I have been studying this site for half day, but so far no clue. Would someone give me a link or a tutorial for Dell machine Bios mods? Thanks, love.
hi folks, dell has released a new A20 bios. you can download the slic 2.1 bios h t t p://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/7500-All-Slics-2.1-(Modded-Bios-List)-Note-For-requests-use-Bios-Mod-Requests-section?p=505818&viewfull=1#post505818 . i flashed it and it works! before flashing the slic A20 bios you should flash the original A20 bios provided by dell. i have flashed my slic A19 to original A20 (takes up to 10min) and after that i have flashed the modded A20 (takes 3min). and after all my win7 64bit is still activated.
