Hello, I've been browsing these forums and thought it would be the best place to ask a question I have, though I couldn't find any information on a BIOS mod quite like it. Has anyone ever modded the bios for a Dell Optiplex GX280 to add processor support for chips up to 3.8Ghz? Specifically the SL7Z3? If not, is this something that anyone here could do? I've tried to install such a processor in a GX280 SFF but get the error "Incompatible processor detected. System halted". Thank you in advance.
