There is plenty of pro version for Dell, but I need the home edition. Thx Tito, I've downloaded the DELL_XP_HOME_SP3_20080911.DELTA file but what now then? There is lots of posts, no clear guide how to use the delta file. Could you give me an idea how to use it. It has to be probably mixed some how with the unbranded version of XP.
I'm the one who originally made the delta file you have. Do you have a unbranded Windows XP SP3 ISO of some sort? Has to be a genuine one, then I can make you a delta file to make the Dell you are after. Code: GRTMHFPP_EN GRTMHOEM_EN GRTMPFPP_EN GRTMPOEM_EN GRTMPVOL_EN
I can download unbranded Windows XP Home SP3 ISO, but I just don't know how this delta file works, how to use it.
Yes, I get that the OP is looking for Dell XP Home Edition, and yes, I see them via torrents. Posting torrent links is not allowed, otherwise I would post them. Dell Home Edition is there. Don't understand how OP can see only Pro Edition. Just double checked to make sure I wasn't confused. Google "dell xp home torrent" returns plenty.
I'm just downloading the file. According to the info it's: Release File: WinHome-x86-en-US-Feb2014.iso Size: 791MB CRC32: 695E8D55 MD5: 4D5778F4852276FE15F4228538F14266 SHA-1: 29D7E01C30E077BCE7412B5F3AE9AB5BD0C006DD EDIT: I've got the same hashes from my iso file, which is already downloaded.
Really? Okay, great. (A little while ago someone was looking for Windows 8.1 w/WMC. I posted a response with one of murphy's 20-in-1 torrents and it was taken down. Hope my confusion is understandable. Perhaps because it isn't an untouched ISO it wasn't permitted?)
I've each one from your list but the polish version. I'll find the english one anyway, I need few more minutes. EDIT: Ok, I've downloaded en_windows_xp_home_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-92413.iso from other source File: en_windows_xp_home_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-92413.iso Size: 592154624 bytes MD5: A22030DF1988445436F300BC29C32DD2 SHA1: 5A6B959AD24D15DC7EBD85E501B83D105D1B37C6 SHA256: 93B404CDAB9E135F63BE4CD3D4B9D8EEB47353BEA46E44231CF4BD26AAD89DE9 SHA384: 4E5200D94CE0EE1010B501F1A6EF70F38BB101706209EA8A4BE567F8E9B716D247E75D5F2E38E5196A9059CDA614C32F SHA512: 0C87D0AF61E423178E49B70D51DA3BC1DE0E941E043BEFB6BC17196AF377F53654C154BC22AFAB653DFB1D502FE7BC09D4329B1DFE44176193ECA0FDF7453091 I've also downloaded GRTMPFPP_EN.ISO but it's probably fake, wrong hashes File: GRTMPFPP_EN.iso Size: 617934848 bytes MD5: 488F9D6FB928037ADFC9B806A6FBE3C8 SHA1: 2C0F7B1E9E12AF35E389B0B6A4F7110CE1B74709 SHA256: 9A4440A4042DBE93D87FED2FD858AA97B435E6C5819F4D4931C0BFB42917FECF SHA384: 308F5FDCF8DE42FAF58894F02DCCE13771BADE51C50D2DA96A69471B1BC3B99FA65B770C63184F1E7D2069331847C958 SHA512: 9820B2790B723345EBB48322B2F14FA5898398CD7204B636DAF40E699E987B3AF0DFD18E6D470B71E589F32215E9669B27C7600F9C857AA3D5DAEBD6ABB5D429 It looks like the en_windows_xp_home_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-92413.iso is the good one, with the correct hash. So much hassle to reinstall OS on my old, original Dell PC with genuine COA. It's probably easier to use a pirate OS, less hassle, less time wasted. Thanks for your time Oz anyway, what's the next step to get that ISO Dell branded?
Done , Thank you Oz !! File: XP_HOME_SP3.iso Size: 599785472 bytes MD5: 22CBA58A04BC9761B8A9276E1279BBCD SHA1: 3B80E5CE804286E881C261D49ED56864DCC7D8EF SHA256: C668EEA33BD59316218C3B90DD8569BDE254C75FDF0AEBBC24730418BD68280F SHA384: AB21E670BB4E0BEA40D65C76639FDB521F79B33FE66DBA525E23FD9CFD9340B3AFDC3C5229EB8B63F8A431112BB74043 SHA512: 58686E8EB5ACF751E4A79A33A823BB8F120FD7C68E1BEAC86A4960A4702443F723B5351F1166AB237A2907C11D162AF716C1278ECA73FD435D81F18D44FE5F65 Is there somewhere any guide for noobs, like me, how to make it step by step?
There is a Windows 2000 thread around which has a bit of info about delta files, it's the one which started this whole delta stuff on MDL. Commands for delta coding is kind of basic. The one you just got was coded/ decoded this way: Code: xdelta3.0z.x86-32.exe encode -vs en_windows_xp_home_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-92413.iso XP_HOME_SP3.iso GRTMHFPP_EN_to_XP_HOME_SP3 Code: xdelta3.0z.x86-32.exe decode -vs en_windows_xp_home_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-92413.iso GRTMHFPP_EN_to_XP_HOME_SP3
Correct Modified ISO files are not permitted on MDL all the information and software is available to make your own up to date or AIO ISO files. We do not need people coming on to MDL looking for modified ISO's and even murphy78 knows that so even he does not advertise his ISO files on MDL. As for torrents same again only unmodified ISO files e.c.t are allowed and normally those are links is the various repositories on the forum.
Thanks guys this was exactly what I was looking for, and it worked a treat. What you do here at MDL is very much appreciated
