Dell SLIC 2.1 string in bios file downloaded from eMachines website

    that's such a good news for your friends. but yes it's damn weird, at the time there is no such thing as SLIC 2.1 table yet.

    Yeah right, don't be ignorant... in 2006 nobody even knew of the possible existence of SLIC 2.1 in 2009/2010 so it is absolutely not possible the original bios had a 2.1 SLIC

    So either 'your friend' has had his bios slic'ed or you used non-original installation media

    Talking rubbish i just downloaded it and loaded it into amitool v1.41 no slic in bios:(
