Dell Studio 1555 BIOS recovery help needed

    Hello!

    I have a Dell Studio 1555 which was turned off when updating BIOS. I've tried to recover it, but still unsuccessful. I've extracted A13 rom, renamed to BIOS.ROM used wincris.exe to make an USB drive. I disconnect power, battery, etc. Plug in USB, press and hold "END", plug in power, release "END", orange light on laptop, fan works at full speed, but no USB activity.

    Is it possible that i use wrong Phlash16.exe, or what causes this?

    Please help me.

    Yes, the exact size is 2,137,622. After extracting, renamed to BIOS.WPH and copied to wincris folder.

    Copying wrong files to USB causes no USB activity at all?

    try different USB ports..no battery
    also not all usb work...i find sandisk to work.
