Dell Studio Hybrid, slic2.1, win7

    Anyone using this computer with win7?

    This is a current model that Dell still ships, but the latest bios is from June, and still doesn't have SLIC2.1 .. been searching around, and havent been able to find an updated bios..

    I have the same question. I'm running win7 in trial mode and waiting for the slic 2.1 for a long time.

    studio hybrid is eligible for free win7 upgrade, so I assume the new bios should be in the upgrade dvd.

    maybe no plans to ship with Windows 7? It has an AMI bios, you may have to request a mod...

    Its Eligible for Free Windows 7 Upgrade. So you might get lucky and get an slic 2.1 bios down the road. but i wouldn't hold my breath. (we are talking dell here.)
