Does any one have this Bios?
Download the latest bios from the site, it should already have SLIC 2.1
I guess the only thing to do is to input a OEM KEY. Correct?
yes, u need the vista dell.xrm-ms file and the windows 7 oem key for ultimate x86 or x64
flashing "Studio 1537 A9" with SLIC 2.1
I tried flashing "Studio 1537 A09" modified rom. Version got update from A08 to A09 but SLIC table still shows ver 2.0 when checked in RW tool. ANy reasons...please let me know
Yeah, they don't sell the 1537 anymore do they? Therefore the likelyhood of it getting a SLIC 2.1 bios is nil.
No, i meant, I download the modified bios for 1537_a09_mod rom from this site and tried to flash my board. if i open this rom file in hex editors i can clearly see that slic version is 2.1 but after flashing i am still seeing 2.0 version of SLIC table data in RW tool.
Do you perhaps have a "n" version 1537, (sold without windows)?
NO, its not N series i checked using RW tool i can see the SLIC table; its not getting changed. I observed few things in my system i.e Dell laptop m1537.
a) All those windows 7 Loaders don;t work in my dell laptop (Studio M1537) but they do work in my desktop system
b) After flashing my laptop couple of times with the mod bios which contains SLIC 2.1 my laptop still remains in 2.0 but bios version gets update it sort of like the SLIC is protected.
c) I installed preactivated vista i can see that SLIC is altered its shows ASUS as manufacturer. I think windows 7 loader which emulates bios will not work in my system and preactivated version actually able to emulate the SLIC with ASUS entry in my dell system.
How can i tell SLIC 2.0 from 2.1? I have Everest installed and i know it has a SLIC table but i dont know if its 2.0 or 2.1

Dell Studio XPS 1340 SLIC 2.1 Mod Request
Dell Studio XPS 1340 bios A07 has SLIC 2.1, if you have already updated to bios A07 then try checking with SLIC dump toolkit
I have the latest Bios for the Studio XPS Desktop 435 MT, version 1.1.2, but according to RW Everything, my slic version is still 2.0 and I cannot successfully activate using the Opa Tool.
I have Windows 7 installed on my second internal hard disk. Would that explain this? Do i need to install it on the primary disk?
Any other suggestions?
Never mind, seems solution is already found:
