    have a Dell venue eight Pro which only supports UEFI boot via the bios . There is no legacy options. My question is would I be able to clean install windows 7 with an MBR partitioned filesystem? Or am I forced to use GPT?

    Why do you want to install Windows 7 in MBR mode? Turn off Secure Boot & install Windows 7 x64 in UEFI mode.

    AFAIK, it doesn't support CSM/legacy booting. So its better to use Professional/Enterprise & use any KMS emulator.

    Basically Im trying to achieve permanent windows 10 llegal activation status when it rolls out the 29th. From what ive been reading on the forums is that those who have windows loader installed will be able to upgrade to windows 10. Then clean install and remain activated. Will this be the case for those upgrading using the kms activation method or does it only apply to those who used daz loader?

    @peck1234

    1. Its applicable for KMS activated Windows 7 as well.
    2. Doesn't the tablet come with genuine Windows 8.x? Then why are you trying to remove that? Windows 8.1 users are also eligible for free upgrade.

    But that would only upgrade to Core.
