    Aloha,

I have Dell Vostro 3750 that suffered a failed BIOS update.

Could someone walk me through the recovery process?

    Thank you,
    Todd

its a Phoenix .WPH type.. needs CRISDISK made and the file for BIOS.WPH
follow these steps .. i believe Shift Key is the right one. as this is newer UEFI type not older Phoenix.

with proper Bios for your 3750. version A05 ( sometimes needs older version to recover) https://www.mediafire.com/?477dguyifpuel7j

I tried win/fn + b, shift, end, but the computer powers up for awhile then shuts back down.

    Any other ideas?

    Thank you,
    Todd

likely needs USB SPI programer to make backup.bin and fix it and flash it back. or get a full dump from a similar working bios pc.

I'm pretty sure that it can be recovered. I just need to know the right keyboard command.

I done the same with Vostro 3560 & never managed to recover it, replacement under warranty was the easiest option

get USB SPI Programmer like ch341a programmer.
    desolder chip and make backup.bin

open it with HxD editor and compare beginning to 0001FFFF.
if it matches mostly beginning then it should work= on backup.bin paste the bios dloaded. replace the broken bios code with new .. same exact address 0 to usually 0001FFFF
    file save as Test.bin
    flash and solder.
