I'm sorry is this is a bad question, but here goes...
I copied a dell windows 7 x64 disk for testing purposes (Using Ultra ISO) from a friend that had an original DVD that he got with his new Inspiron laptop and noticed that the size was over 5 GB?!?!
I burned using a dual layered DVD and it did burn fine, but, why is it this size? are both x86 and x64 on this disk?
I have an original x64 oem that is 3GB, that is why I'm asking.

Thanks for the info bog, what junk is on there? is it easy to "cut out" the junk using Ultra ISO? if so, which folder(s)?
I would love to do this and burn to single layer.
