I have installed Vista on this machine, and has almost all drivers except that one. Official drivers are for Windows 7 and Windows 8, but I tried some drivers that appeared in Snappy Driver Installer but they give error 39. Do not know if the driver files are really corrupted or it is an error with the driver. Someone that has a machine like this one and has installed Vista on it; can help me. (a temporary solution is to connect it directly to the modem with a LAN cable, because the Ethernet network card works)
What is the exact version of this Dell, what is the motherboard, what is the processor and what is the service tag (7-digit combination of letters and numbers). Then there will be some sort of overview of what it is all about.
Exact version: DELL Inspiron 3521 Motherboard: Do not know. Processor: Intel Core i3-3227U Service Tag: Do you need the Service Tag?
No, mate, I don't need to, but then I would know what computer you are talking about, because computers (and other electronic devices too) with the exact same product name and release number can be very different. In addition, they are different for different regions of the world. And look, I'm not young enough to know how to advise you if I don't know what you really want or what the problem really is. From this number, I can look up the factory data for your specific computer on the Dell website. It's not some secret number and it's not hidden, it's just to know which version it is. But of course, if you don't want to publish it, that's up to you, and then it's very hard to help you. Sorry to bother you sir.
@Vista2007. It's just only that function? Can you sort it using "PI" and copy all red marked function names? Also upload your driver too. It can be probably patched if it's only this function. EDIT: I think you can using CFF Explorer locate NdisSetCoalescableTimerObject and replace it with NdisSetTimerObject (according to MS documention) and recalc checksum and save that file.
