Trying to use the phoenix mod tool on an XPS 15z L511X Laptop to unlock the bios, when I click 'go' I get the error UNable to add SLIC Code and it stops.
Pulled the SLIC info directly from my board using SLIC Toolkit, no idea why it won't add it. I'm new to this so go easy on me, thanks in advance.

What is it that you're trying to do, exactly?

indeed it does, I'm trying to learn how to mod my bios to unlock extra setting that Dell conveniently left out. Anyone have any ideas or could make unlock the settings for me? It's a UEFI type.

    TIA.

Jwhirl, any luck? I'm new to this and don't want to mess things up.
