well i normally dont ask for help but im brainstorming if Cap 3300 6.3 105c KZG (junk) would fix no post. seems this cap is known for being bad 2 yrs in use as it is for the memory circuit. anyone else know whats wrong with these dell part num ct017 mobo ? (trodas where are you!)
i ebayed some yesterday rubycon usa distributor. 4 pack of 3300uf 6.3v and 4 pack of same 680uf 16v i might get lucky and posts after due to cap for memory cleaning up ram issues of no post..
3300uf is a good value, but 6.3 volts is a little low, IMHO. As a rule, engineers spec the working voltage to be twice the expected voltage on that line. Is it a 3.3 volt supply line? Or, a 5 volt supply line? And yeah. I would recommend a Nichicon cap there. 3300uf,10V if size permits.
its likely 3.3 or less for ram i think. im gonna stick with exact as its not mine to play with and not work and have to order exact and causing a further week delay for friend. but i do agree sorta.. i have done so in my 96 honda accord ecu and its been working fine.
dont waste your time with this lemmon.. not video card, caps, psu, ram.. just crap motherboard. transferring it to another pc.
