What do I have to add for Devices and Printers view to not be empty? It says "3 devices" at the bottom, but the icons don't show.
hello mraeryceos, just wondered if you have tryed to right click and then click on refresh in the whitespace where the icons should be, failing that you could try to right click and select the view and try to change the size of icons to see if they come back, other than that the only thing to try is the right click and try to select the sort by/group by in the little context menu that pops up, not to sure if its what your on about, but worth a try none the less, hope it can help you out, if not leave us a reply and i'll try to help the best i can. rezhakzer
ahh nuts forgot to say that you can also try the add a devices tab at the top, to see if that can find or restore any of the missing icons you ask about, good luck with this. rezhakzer
Sorry I never got back. The requirement I needed was "search indexing" package. It was a dependency and I tried to do without it.
