Hello, I need to practice with w2008 r2 virtual machines, the problem is that I can't turn on VT in the moterboard of my laptop. I'm supposed to use w2008 r2, but it's only 64 version. I'm thinking of using the former version of w2008, that it's available for 32 bits. I am going to notice diferences in the configuration menus? Or are just the same?? I'm doing it with educational porpuses... Thanks

r2 has many new options, an example, "wbadmin" for backup, can exclude "folders"

Does your Processor support VT feature? If yes then Upadte your MB bios. If BIOS is up to date & VT option is not available then write to your MB manufacturer. Some time they don't publish Bios to enable those feature but sent to user on request.
