Hi Is there a simple answer to how KMSMicro and KMSnano are different? If there is, could someone pls reply here? Thanks. If not, I'll keep reading the threads; the KMS-HOST sticky is still very long after reading for about an hour ; thought I'd ask for a shortcut answer, ty's.
I don't know about Windows 8 or even 7 because I use only legit activation for that! For Office 2013 it differs till it's public available and here I use the KMSNano, works fully automatic without problems.
To be accurate, you should state that KMSnano did afair hang on your Win 7 installation. It works perfectly on Win 8 . Due to KMSnano builds are newer, last versions even skip Retail activated Windows versions and only activate Office in that case.
Thanks everyone for your replies, and to summarize: For people who clean-installed windows 8 (me), then I could treat the Nano as an updated, next-in-series version of Micro? (I saw somewhere that Nano is based on Micro 3.0, but now we have Micro 4.0...) So please correct me if that is not accurate. Also I remember reading, somewhere in the sticky, that Nano takes the existing computer memory, divides it by 2, and keeps half of the memory for (Nano) itself? Did I read that correctly? (and wouldn't that be very resource consuming) Thanks again all
Me think, you understand something a bit wrong. KMSDNano may take half of the memory! But: for the time only while KMSNano is running which is only for that time needed to start, activate what should be and goes off! That's meaning just for a quite short time. It will temporarely install an VM-Server, run the related Scripts and shut down. That's how I understand, without to read everything about it. So, in final that use of memory really didn't matters!
It uses between 250megs and 1300 megs. If your computer is low on memory it will not try to use too much.
May it's your Machine?! Others didn't have that problem! Maybe just some Settings in BIOS or something else. First place to look on is your own (computer, installation, drivers, etc.!
Due to countless possible system constellations no one can tell this for shure, but for Win 8 and Office 2013 i would go for LaFinalNano 19.1. This one will skip a Retail activated Windows, if it detects one, and only activate Office in that case (or vice versa) .
I know your going to tell me to look around the forum and I'll find it but I did and not having any luck. Keep in mind folks some of these threads have 500 pages and to look thru all them for an answer is unreal. Now my question. Where can I find downloads to KMS Nano and Micro your talking about. Thanks.
