If Microsoft offered a version of Windows 10 that had no adware, and no telemetry, and you had much more control over it for certain things like Cortana right out of the box , Would you be willing to pay for that version and how much would you think that Microsoft should sell it for? Would you still be willing use a freeware/adware/telemetry locked down version of Windows 10 as long if it was always free?
Isn't that Enterprise LTSB? this reminds me of the chinese-tailored editions that was supposedly to be created but they never went into production so far yeah sure, every edition can be tweaked

When I'm feeling really paranoid, I just use my Linux box. But if I were able to buy what you are speculating about, I'd pay ... I don't know, maybe a buck 2.95. Imaginary dollars for an imaginary OS.
You guy's have not heard about Windows DeCrapifier, you order Windows 10 or buy from store, take disc out of package, soak disc overnight in solution of DeCrapifier & water, The next morning you have Windows 10 without spyware, forced driver updates, no apps. Yes, get you some DeCrapifier.
I am only speaking hypothetically If you could buy a clean version of 10 off the shelf, How much would you be willing to pay?
Win7 Ultimate? Wasn't that 400 dollars and didn't everyone just pirate it? I understand what MS is doing. What they're doing is RIGHT even. I just happen not to like it.
