I had bought a new P67 motherboard which was affected by the recall. So instead of installing my paid for legit key on that motherboard I installed it on my old P35 with the new SSD I had purchased with the new MB.

Now when I get my replacement P67 MB I imagine my key will be no good since its a different MB. To make matters worse this MB is UEFI, so no Daz or modded bios option.

Looks like I screwed the pooch or do you think a call to M$ would be worth a try ? If not I should just order another copy of Win7 ?

Thanks, I'm betting there are others in my predicament. It didn't hit me as a big deal until I realized that these P67 motherboards are troublsome for loaders and bios mods. I've never had to call M$ in years and years of using their OS's. But I guess this intel recall screwed up a lot of folks planning.
