seeing that there is microsoft employes that go to this site. maybe they can look into this matter that any games/programs/emulators that use directdraw runs really slow in windows 8 and 8.1 but run really fast in windows mode, but not alot of people like window mode. compatibility settings don't work, manually editing registry for the game/programs/emulators dont work. runs fine in vm but loose sound quality and the sound lags. only option is to dualboot into windows 7 to play those games/programs/emulators microsoft is losing customers that relies on a operation system because it cant do everything that they can do with windows 7. there are others problems as well. but those post are already here. and on other sites.
