Whenever I press the .exe to play a game, I get a pop-up asking me to install DirectPlay, and a warning my game won't work properly without it. So I took a punt and continued the game without installing DirectPlay and the game plays fine. The game is TrackMania 2 Stadium which I play online. Is there a way I can stop this program from popping up every time I want to play? Cheers
Why didn't you check out on VM what happen if you install and disable after that? It seems to be that DirectPlay is part of the Game App you're using! Isn't there at any stage of the Install a option for to deny the use of DirectPlay? Because, if that App is part of a software you install, the developer of the software will have some benefit if users install those extra app!
