If your not connected to the internet, Windows 7's 'Games Explorer' will cause issues. Namely, it causes rundll32 to become stuck in a loop with very high CPU usage, and prevents certain games from launching on the first click. I've been using Windows Server 2008 R2 for a while now, and it's great without the useless 'Games Explorer'. However, the F.E.A.R series has issues with the Server O/S, so I need to switch back to standards Windows 7. Does anyone know how to completely disable and remove the 'Games Explorer' component of Windows 7?
