You can add .ShowSB=0 in [BuildOptions] in the Package.ini file ;)

    not working for 4.7.3?

Thanks for the great work around. This worked on 4.7.2 but I am having trouble in 4.7.3 because there is no 74 19 in line 0002BB0A?
    What am I doing wrong?

I know this is a VERY old thread but would there be a similar fix for VMWare ThinApp Enterprise v5.0.0 Build 1391583.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The workaround written by Soulfate work with v5.1.0-2079447.
After you build a virtualized package, go to "Captures\package" folder, which is located usually in VMware ThinApp installation folder, delete bin folder, add .ShowSB=0 under [BuildOptions] in the Package.ini file and run build.bat. The virtualized package is located in bin folder and when you run executable files from there, you'll not have the usual pop-up banner from system tray.

Maybe a little late for the person you are replying to, but useful info nonetheless.
