Disappearing SLIC in Everest? (Award BIOS)

    I believe this is a known issue with Gigabyte boards. There are thread in here that discusses this matter and a possible resolution.

    I havent looked at Fzeven's mod, bit there is an ISA module that resolves this issue writen by @tommiy.

    Well, it was not Fzeven's mod, but my own, and that's the problem. I used the Award GUI mod program by BennyBoy but that was it. My brave adventure into BIOS modding was a partial success, now if it could be done right, I'd be very grateful...

    Than maybe @BennyBoy should update the patcher to inlcude option for GB boards with issue like yours.

    Aside from the BIOS mod, what else is needed? Don't you have to load something within Vista to complete the transaction?

    I assume that the current method of cracking (vista loader) would be uneccessary?
