+1 supposedly only available for windows 11 users and very buggy. Not expecting windows 10 availability until next year
I actually just remembered that I did try downloading something from the Microsoft store right after I installed Tiny11 and it was working.. so must be something i did
How 'trustworthy' is Arc though...I guess privacy wise I mean. Something about it gives me misgivings such that I stopped and reterned to My other Alternative selections. I could expound upon but just wondering if anyone had some more insight on their company model and if they are vetted/approved by the community. I tend to lean on the more kinda-Very particular perhaps say neoritic to some Bird opinions about my checks for what can/can't pass for my daily/frequent allowed softwares, especially browsers. I would like you to expand more pointing out specific practical examples, since I literally never had the slightest chance of trying it just yet.. some alternative selections you probably havent heard of is : - Whale Browser - Floorp Browser - Kosmik Browser - Multizen Browser
Neato Thanks, I actually Use Floorp as my Secondary Main Browser , for a good while now & pretty Into it& generally reccomend it to others. ...My Main Use Browser Actually is___ "Preface: (Okay DONT kill Me , Alright...I know Already it's just a Personal Choice & For some reason find myself naturally going to it most..What can I say "___ Thorium[Avx2] & makes me quite happy, Any external reputation aside..Thouygh I've been trying to break Using it as Soley as I do , its a toss up between Floorp given the Day/Week & how im feeling. My 3rd Browser I occasionally Shuffle around and grown rather more fond of as of late is LibreWolf and keeps growing on me sits nice at #rd place, then most recent Sometimes Hop to Mullvlad just because or for certian things [but not quite Tor Heavy] ... I also try to Run a Close-to BetterFireFox user.json with any FF Forks. All these Run in portable and w/ Edge Removed I use Ghostery as a odd-out one to open up any Desktop Links/Shortcuts per Default Browse. Again Arc never made it past initiation very far but I was curiouse about how it's privacy and company Ideals held up in the communities as I had(Have) my missgivings , I appreciate The Suggustions though. Alot Actually as 2 Of those are new to me & I usually do my due Digging, though Ive heard Kosmik in passing have not checked into..Whale is compeltly new and If Multizen is "zen Browser" then I actually just Installed it a few days ago to Test around but had UI issues and generally just got disintrested at the moment but kept it around for perhaps another Go sometime. Gotta Go install 2 Things now though so Take Care/Thx Again. - Deff NotEspy<3 *P.S.Orion 4 ios (Also Feel Free To recomend any SearchEngines as Google is just...Yeh, no but even Brave Now adays which is my main is.... I wanted to try Arc when it became available for Windows but had to create an account to use it so I uninstalled it. But by watching YouTube videos of it I can say that it doesn't seem so interesting to me. It doesn't have a bookmark toolbar like other browsers so you have to pin websites and then you can put the pinned sites into folders which seems annoying and I guess it would be pain in the ass if you have many bookmarks. Seem possible to access bookmarks from "chrome://bookmarks" but then you would have to access them thru that page every time which is not handy. This is a great browser, I have been using it for several months before I switched to Throium. Some websites seemed to work better on the Blink engine so I switched to Thorium. Webpages seems to load faster on Floorp and it's generally better then Firefox. It's based on ESR release of Firefox so it will be several versions behind regular Firefox but it is well optimized. On Linux I prefer to use Firefox or Firefox based browsers and on Windows I prefer Blink engine browsers. Thorium is nice but I wanted to try something different so some weeks ago I decided to give Edge browser a try and I have to admit that it is a good browser once you disable telemetry. Edge is using less memory then some other Blink browsers and has some nice features. And now I am trying out Brave because I haven't used it since last year so I want to see how it has improved. Brave will continue to support Ublock Origin (and some others extensions) v2 manifest version when other browsers will drop v2 support, that's what caught my interest to try it again. I don't get why only a few v2 extensions will be supported and not all of them but it's better then no support at all. Braves own ad blocker is better now then last time I used it, it didn't block YouTube ads last time but now it does and generally it seems to do a better job at blocking ads.
Maybe Ill spin up Brave again. For some reason I drifted away from it, It may be the contrarian in me...But it has gained alot of traction and almost mainstream attention now & I like to stay ahead of the curve so When ens**tification happens and completes it's lifecycle ill already be prepared and able to cut off ties/attatchment much easier than taken off-guard and trapped in an unhealthy-relationship. If Apple/icloud tought me anything </3 *& Edge browser I refuse to use out of Principle. Any software that is mandated and pushed/forced down our throats so Insistantly I will do anything I can to circumvent (for the most part 95% of the time) Aswell their shady practices Edge is Glorified Spyware+ & Thank You for the Response & Insight ツ
