Tried it. System seems a little faster. Realtek audio interface is reading dx12, but nvidia control panel says api and feature level 11. So it's probably placebo. Anyone know of a dx12 benchmark I could try?
AMD User here. I installed the drivers and tried a DX12 demo (namely the "Unreal Engine 4 Elemental DX12 Tech Demo" ) and had no luck. I found a twitter post for the release of this and it seems that it is only working on NVIDIA cards (typical). I don't think it is malicious or anything like that you can view all the registry edits it makes and they seem to make sense. Removing the drivers and registry edits was easy. Oh well, lets hope it will get a working version once the DX12 ball starts rolling and games start to release with it. Windows 10 has been nothing but issues for me. EDIT i noticed that the drivers were not actually being replaced so i booted a live linux distro to replace the files that way. I broke windows. don't try this unles you have a system restore point or something.
