    Wow !
    [h=2]Elementary OS[/h]looks fascinating :), is it for normal home use ?
    can it be used without the CLI ?

    It's stable, but it felt like iOS. Hard to explain but you have very less customized stuff

    Download the iso and boot into live mode to find out :p

    I installed it yesterday o a p4 machine, there were no games included in it, but at-least it had the cool app store !:cool:
    It is very slow & sluggish on this machine (p4, 512MB, 20GB prim, 2GB swap)
    I believe Linux Lite is the best for such machines :)


    PS: I wonder how the heck all the Linuxes have such cool & awesome desktop wallpapers :eek:

    For me,Elementary OS seems to be buggy;I had some issues with laptop display on Intel HD 3000 chipset.

    Let me guess, brightness set from light to dark on startup ?

    As you said and more:when is in screen energy saver mode(NOT screensaver :D)

    I fixed that problem to change brightness from screen, seems the laptop buttons didn't work so i needed to do it manually in elemantary. Still i stick with windows 7, i don't see any benefits from linux just jet :(

    Then wait for KDE Plasma 5 to be finished and you will see...
