DISCUSSION: Office 16

I also heard there is a Mac OS X version that will look like the Windows version. Anyone know where to download the beta testing version for Mac? I can't wait for this.

 

Hope they bring back Office Picture Manager, I use that every day which means I am stuck on Office 2010

 

In each office version the toolbars don't change at all. It has been like this since v2007

all shortcuts and starting splash screens still say welcome to office 2013 lol

 

already installed by now ^_^

 

ok will add this in case someone is still having trouble.

first, there is no install screen, it goes to a balloon on your task manager. Second, Open task manager and if you see more than one click to run, running. Stop all but one (the one using the most resources leave open). Watch the disk access and memory use etc. once they drop you can probably open one of the links the installer makes in the start screen (for win8x). Click the arrow at the bottom of the start screen and you should see all the office links there. try open one.

Tried to install this on 9860 Win 10 and it just launches a couple of CMD screens quickly then does nothing
