Opps ! I try again with Archive Utility. And file have not actually corrupted. I apologize for wrong feedback. Please don't use windows archiver softwares. As far as I understand this file compressed in the mac environment.

    Kind regards :cap:

And I have not yet MAC or other OS installed...BTW I know what to do: I'll install OS X in VM and from that instalation I'll try again to download and use that image.

The file doesn't need be extracted, only you can use it on a manner "useful" if you are using mac one. If you are using windows then first install osx 10.6 using empireEFI or something similar.

P.S If you only want to use it with testing purposes it's okay, but if you want use it as main system avoid use a image updated by other people.

@gendo6 - It was meant for testing purposes. - I always opt for the real mccoy. ...don't have much use for altered images. ;)

Ok, don't worry. Only I mean in a generalized way. Because I will be honest, I prefer use a computer built by myself running osx with my legit OS copy than a real mac because it's more quick, and easy to repair than a real. And I think that a real no support hard working [with exception to mac pro series] but it's very expensive.

Yes, you can. But you need modify the vmware's bios, I suppose that exist guides to this here (in the site). Because workstation doesn't support OS X client.

P.S Your CPU must support virtualization capacities. (You can check on intel's website)
