Extracting the LCU can take a lot of time, what happened when you let it run?

You can't "upgrade" to a lower build.

Summary page choices of uup dump site:

Windows 10 Pro; Language en_GB, Download and convert to ISO; Create ISO with install esd instead of install.wim

    Final output After running uup_download_linux.sh

    Code:
    Status Legend:
    (OK):download completed.

Afew lines From the beginning of the script
    Code:
    @localhost 19042.928_amd64_en-gb_professional_cca699d9_convert]$ ./uup_download_linux.sh
    which: no cabextract in (/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/libexec:/usr/games:/usr/lib64/qt5/bin:/usr/lib64/qt4/bin:/home/hugh/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/home/hugh/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin)

No cabextract in (/bin...) And indeed why would there be? It is a linux script after all.

Certainly not an emergency post this but thought it might need reporting and someone may have negotiated this hurdle before.

Definitely no gleaming new ISO iin the UUPs folder, about 20 ESD packages visible.

    Thanks

  9. Which distro are you using? If you are using Ubuntu/Debian based distro then try using this to install cabextract:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get update -y
    sudo apt-get install -y cabextract

    Thank you for your reply.

As luck would have it my distro does have the cabextract package which I have installed.
Ran the script and now have this as a final output:

    Code:

    (OK):download completed.

    What now, if anything?

  11. Again, for Ubuntu/Debian distros use this to install wimlib:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install wimtools

Once again thanks. wimtools translates to wimlib in my distro and the job was completed successfully.
I now have the expected ISO.
    cheers
